<h1 class="ql-align-center">Meghalaya Enterprise Architecture Project (MeghEA)</h1> <h2>Context:</h2> <ul><li>Recently, Meghalaya chief minister and Union Information and Technology (MeitY) Minister has jointly launched ‘MeghEA- Meghalaya Enterprise Architecture</li></ul> <h2>About:</h2> <ul><li class="ql-align-justify">The project aims to improve service delivery and governance for the people using the power of Digital technologies.</li></ul> <ul><li class="ql-align-justify">MeghEA initiative is spread across 6 pillars namely:&nbsp;</li><li class="ql-indent-1 ql-align-justify">Governance</li><li class="ql-indent-1 ql-align-justify">Human Resources</li><li class="ql-indent-1 ql-align-justify">Entrepreneurship</li><li class="ql-indent-1 ql-align-justify">Primary Sector</li><li class="ql-indent-1 ql-align-justify">Infrastructure</li><li class="ql-indent-1 ql-align-justify">Environment.</li></ul> <ul><li class="ql-align-justify">The significance of this project is that,&nbsp;with this, Meghalaya becomes the&nbsp;first state to implement India Enterprise Architecture (IndEA)&nbsp;as MeghEA and promote Enterprise Architecture to digitize Governance Process.</li></ul> <ul><li>It envisaged making Meghalaya a high-income state by 2030 by improving service delivery and governance for the people at the grassroots level using the power of digital technologies</li></ul> <ul><li>It will be implemented by the MeitY, National Informatics Centre (NIC), and Information Technology Department of state. Meghalaya is the first state to implement IndEA as MeghEA</li></ul> <h2>IndEA:</h2> <ul><li>IndEA is an initiative of the Government of India to promote digital governance in the country and expedite the delivery service system in the government process</li></ul> <ul><li class="ql-align-justify">It was notified as an e-Governance standard by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) in October 2018.</li></ul> <ul><li>The primary purpose of IndEA is to help state governments, ministries, and departments in the governments at various levels, adopt a structured approach for developing their enterprise architecture</li></ul> <img src="https://sunyaias-resources.s3.ap-south-1.amazonaws.com/content/62812987-4b0e-11ec-82a7-9d2af53a8eac.png">
