<h1 class="ql-align-center">Hycean Worlds</h1> <h2>Context:</h2> <ul><li>Recently, some astronomers have identified a new class of exoplanets – Hycean worlds.</li></ul> <h2>About:</h2> <ul><li>The word&nbsp;Hycean&nbsp;comes from the words&nbsp;hydrogen and ocean.</li></ul> <ul><li class="ql-align-justify">These planets are about 2.6 times the size of Earth, have temperatures of about 200 degrees Celsius.</li></ul> <ul><li class="ql-indent-1 ql-align-justify">This places them somewhere&nbsp;between Earth and giant planets&nbsp;like Neptune or Uranus.</li></ul> <ul><li>These planets, unlike most mini-Neptunes,&nbsp;may have solid surfaces, like Earth.</li></ul> <ul><li>Many of the known Hycean candidates are&nbsp;larger and hotter than Earth, but still would be able to host large oceans.</li></ul> <h2>Exoplanets:</h2> <ul><li class="ql-align-justify">Exoplanets are planets that orbit a star other than our sun.</li></ul> <ul><li class="ql-align-justify">An exoplanet is any planet beyond our solar system. </li></ul> <ul><li class="ql-align-justify">Most orbit other stars, but free-floating exoplanets, called rogue planets, orbit the galactic center and are untethered to any star.</li></ul> <ul><li class="ql-align-justify">The prefix "Exo" comes from Greek and means outside, these worlds are far, far outside our own solar system.</li></ul> <img src="https://sunyaias-resources.s3.ap-south-1.amazonaws.com/content/628129f8-4b0e-11ec-82d9-9d2af53a8eac.png">
