<h1 class="ql-align-center">Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM)</h1> <h2>Context:</h2> <ul><li>Recently, the&nbsp;Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission&nbsp;was launched by the Prime Minister through a video conference.</li></ul> <h2>About:</h2> <ul><li>ABDM aims to create a seamless online platform that will enable interoperability within the digital health ecosystem.</li></ul> <ul><li>It will close the current gap that exists among the various stakeholders of the country’s healthcare ecosystem through digital technologies.</li></ul> <ul><li>Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission is based on the foundations laid down in the form of Jan Dhan, Aadhaar and Mobile (JAM) trinity, and other digital initiatives of the government</li></ul> <ul><li>Key components of ABDM:</li></ul> Digital Health ID for every citizen that will work as their health account, to which personal health records can be linked and viewed through a mobile application. Healthcare Professionals Registry (HPR) and Healthcare Facilities Registries (HFR) that act as a repository of all healthcare providers across modern and traditional systems of medicine. <ul><li>The&nbsp;citizens will be able to give their doctors and health providers one-time access to this data&nbsp;during visits to the hospital for consultation.</li></ul> <ul><li>The&nbsp;National Health Authority&nbsp;has been given the mandate to design, build, roll out and implement the mission in the country.</li></ul> <ul><li>Private stakeholders will have an equal opportunity&nbsp;to integrate and create their own products for the market. The core activities and verifications, however, remain with the government.</li></ul>
